ABOUT kitiya
"I believe that photography is a way of storytelling that goes deeper than the surface. My journey started ten years ago, and since then, it has evolved into a dedicated search for beauty in its most authentic forms.
With a degree in Photography and advanced studies in Visual Anthropology and Contemporary Photography (ISSP), my approach is more than technical—it’s observational. My background in anthropology has taught me to value the 'living' world: the way long grass dances in the wind, the vibrant chaos of a wildflower meadow, and the quiet, historical charm that makes Southern Italy feel like a beautiful journey back in time.
Why Italy? To me, Italy has everything. From the rugged via ferratas and volcanoes to the crystal-clear turquoise seas and ancient cities, every region tells a different story. I relocated to Salento because I fell in love with its raw, unpolished soul. Here, life feels slower and more intentional, almost like stepping into a past where every stone and olive tree has a secret to share.
My Creative Process As a photographer and a former high-end retoucher, I am obsessed with details. I don’t just look for a 'scenic' spot; I look for the right light and the right atmosphere to tell your story.
Whether we explore a hidden meadow I’ve discovered or a historic street in Lecce, I am here to guide you. I curate the locations and the timing to ensure we catch that perfect Mediterranean glow. My goal is for you to feel completely relaxed and present, while I turn your Italian getaway into a collection of timeless, cinematic art.
Let’s create something that feels just as alive as Salento itself.
